Spoken English I
SPOKEN ENGLISH I AIMS
To aid in speaking English in day to day context.
To get over fear and hesitation while speaking English.
To develop listening skills and improve their level of English comprehension.
To build language response that serves as a survival kit.
Spoken English I is the course designed for learners who come from vernacular medium schools and colleges. They are sound in technical knowledge but lack the ability to express in English.
This course has two modules of four weeks each. Each module has its clear cut objectives to help the learner master various aspects of language syntax and appropriate expression. The learners are gradually taken through the different concepts of grammar to speak about their roles, responsibilities, abilities, their past achievements, future plans and questioning techniques. Simultaneously, they are given enough opportunities to face the group and speak. This gives them immense confidence to face the world.
If the learners are very weak in English and fall below the level of expectations required in the written test for Spoken English - 1 course, then they are given specialized attention outside the class. They are made to answer very simple questions and are given focused drilling in language required by them in their life or work area.

Two hours everyday for one month (or)
Four hours everyday for two weeks

SPOKEN ENGLISH II AIMS
To aid in speaking English in variety of contexts.
To develop spoken fluency and improve all aspects of pronunciation.
To develop listening skills in a range of contexts.
To enrich vocabulary and be accurate in expression.
To boost the confidence of the learner and assist to project themselves well in society.
SPOKEN ENGLISH II
This is the Course where learners are given admissions if they meet the level of expectation in the written test required for Spoken English in the entry level assessment test. Students who take admission to this course have to undergo training for 8 weeks. This training is of 2 modules. Each module is of 4 weeks.
Each week has set learning goals. Instructors make sure that the learners meet the preset goals through various language activities. Trainers ensure that learners are provided with ample opportunities to listen and speak by interacting with one another. Trainers assist the learners to organize and present their ideas in an effective and convincing manner.
